The effects of time take their toll on our bodies and perhaps none so drastically as on the face. The brow in particular is prone to wrinkles, frown lines, and sagging. If you are unhappy with the appearance of your heavy, sagging brow and would like to alleviate the severe, angry and aged appearance it’s projecting on you, you may be a good candidate for a Brow Lift surgery.

Brow Lift surgery is designed to tighten and lift the skin of the brow to create a smoother, more alert and youthful appearance. There are two options for the Brow Lift: an Endoscopic Brow Lift and an Open Forehead Lift. An Endoscopic Brow Lift is minimally invasive and uses small incisions in the hairline. The procedure takes around two hours and recovery time is minimal. An Open Forehead Lift is more extensive and is usually only done if there is an extensive amount of loose, sagging skin.

A Brow Lift is sometimes done in conjunction with other facial rejuvenation procedures such as Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Lift) or a Face Lift. To learn more about your options, contact our office to schedule your consultation with Danville Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Michelle J. Place.
